PFC was formed to help our client's address the current challenging market conditions by bringing together a group of complementary and highly experienced executives who together have over eighty years of Public Sector experience. All of us have held senior executive positions within the UK government and the Technoloy / Services sector.
Jointly we are experienced in the disciplines of strategy formation, sales and marketing effectiveness, programme management, bid management, government procurement practices and commercials.
We also have access to an experienced associate network. Our associates include subject matter experts across operational areas of government and senior ex-civil servants
PFC operates as a close-knit team rather than as a 'management bodyshop'. The Directors lead the engagements with clients, bringing in additional skills as necessary. We aim to rapidly establish ourselves as integral members of our client's team by demonstrating initiative, leadership, flexibility and the value of our experience from the outset.
If we do not think our client can win then we will tell them early and recommend either remedial actions or to 'qualify out' and focus elsewhere. A key element of our 'value-add' is that we, as individuals, are passionate about winning and therefore will drive the activities to maximise the chances of achieving success.
In the past twelve months PFC has taken on a number of interesting client projects. The projects have been varied and have ranged from supporting Tier 1 IT Outsourcing organisations in the pursuit of new logo accounts, SMEs wishing to enter the Public Sector market and a global technology and services business requiring help on developing a new market proposition. We are always interested in hearing from individuals who may bring specialist skills to the team on an associate or contract basis. Particular areas of interest are in bid direction, commercial negotiations in competitive dialogue, financial modelling skills, solution development in a bid environment and transition / programme management. We are also interested to hear from special material experts in the following areas:
- Health - experience with Health trusts and hospitals
- Transportation - with particular exposure to train franchising
- Digital strategy - digital insight, marketing, agile business design and development
